The 2 bedroom house next door is also available to rent, ideal for two families to be closeby. Puivert is a wonderful location, with a selection of good restaurants, the micro-brewery, and swimming lake in stunning scenery.
Fantastic walking, cycling, horse riding in stunning scenery all around Puivert and above Puivert on the magical Plateau du Sault, the swimming lake is a 5 minute walk which looks up to Puivert castle, one of the many Cathar castles to visit in the area, and the location for the popular Wednesday night markets. The artisan micro-brewery (set up by a British neighbour of ours) is a popular place for occasional music events. Puivert even has its own glider airfield for an experience never to be forgotten!
