Summary: We stayed at the property for a week.The owner met us on arrival.She doesn't speak much English and our French isn't good so a friend kindly translated for us.The apartment is close to the centre of the village on a quiet, pleasant square.Clean and tidy inside with a comfy bed. Kitchen has all you need . There is a little terrace for sitting on with a lovely view of the mountains . Cauterets is a pleasant town with plenty of walks in the area. We really liked the town and the area .A couple of issues we had - we understood from the owner there would be parking in front of the property but this was not the case.There are spaces on the square but they are always taken, but you can park to drop your things off. It was not a major problem for us as we parked in the free 24 hr car parks . However we feel we were a bit misled with this information as we did query parking before booking.Also where the listing says there is an additional charge for "house keeping " this actually means "end of stay cleaning ." If you don't pay the additional fee then the owner expects you to clean the apartment ready for the next guests .We were caught out by this .We left the apartment clean and tidy as we always do but the owner was most displeased with our efforts as she came in to check before we left . Communication on departure was an issue due to our lack of French and the owner's lack of English .Despite the above two issues overall we had a very pleasant stay at the apartment ,
