Situated in a small hamlet of only six houses with your own private entrance with self check-in available and plenty of parking. A cosy little one bedroom cottage with gorgeous shower room, quirky log burner and lovely kitchen. On your arrival you will find a complimentary welcome pack with basics supplies of tea, coffee, bread etc. The kitchen is equipped with many little extras, mini blender and chopper, herbs and spices, everything to add flavour to your cooking. Outside there is a lovely seating area to enjoy breakfast. We have a full size pétanque court, a bbq and dining space with an antique French day bed, perfect for an evening under the stars! On a clear night the dark sky gives an amazing display of the Milky Way. We even have a small rustic gym in one of the original stables. We are on hand (discretely) to answer any questions you may have and point you in the direction of supermarkets, local markets, brocantes and vide greniers which take place most weekends. Logeat is a short drive from the beautiful Lacs de Haute Charente, Limoges, Angoueleme, and Bordeaux plus the numerous picturesque villages in both the Charente and nearby Dordogne and Haute Vienne. Ideal for a cycling holiday, the roads are a cyclists dream, walking holiday - numerous paths to explore just outside the front door, or just to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. In an effort to reduce waste we endeavour to provide refillable containers for toiletries, eco friendly cleaning products and have separate refuse bins for easy recycling. Our garden is organically managed and our chickens provide not only free range eggs but great entertainment. The local wildlife frequently visit and you will likely see deer and many wonderful birds in the surrounding woods and fields.
