Welcome to our beautiful renovated farm house with 4 bedrooms all with en-suites, private 10m x 5m swimming pool and beautiful private landscaped gardens. Large first floor covered terrace with fantastic views over the Viaur valley. Free wifi. This stunning former farmhouse retains many original features yet provides modern and comfortable accommodation in the secluded hamlet of ‘La Guitardie’. The grounds are abundant with flowers and shrubs, olive trees, palms and oleanders providing the perfect setting for peace and relaxation and offer beautiful views which surround the property. Enjoy the private pool with it's large stepped area for relaxing. There is a large terrace, barbecue, sun loungers, tables and chairs, perfect for al-fresco dining. The outdoor bar/kitchen is equipped with fridge, dishwasher and the essentials for outdoor living. The changing room has a toilet, basin and there is an outdoor shower by the pool. On the 1st floor, the lounge has TV, air conditioning, wood burning stove and opens onto the large partially covered terrace with comfortable seating and amazing views over the valley below and surrounding countryside. The kitchen has a large integrated wood burning stove and the newly installed fully equipped kitchen has integrated ovens, a large fridge, a large island unit with seating for 8 with induction hob. The kitchen has access to a shady terrace with seating area and also leads though to the garden room with bi-folding doors with wonderful views of the landscaped gardens and beyond with a sunny terrace and a further large comfortable seating area. Utility room off the garden room with additional fridge freezer, washing machine and dryer. Get a restful nights sleep in any of the luxurious bedrooms. All with quality king-size comfortable mattresses and bedding and en-suite bath/shower rooms. There are 3 bedrooms in the main house and the 4th bedroom is in a private garden chalet with en-suite shower room, air conditioning and wifi.

Beautiful walks from your doorstep through the forest and to the river below, kayaking and canoeing, cycling trails and visits to medieval towns and historic sites. Situated in the countryside but only 2.5km from the lovely bastide village of Pampelonne with it's bakery, post office, shops, bar and restaurant.
The property is only 18 minutes drive from Carmaux with it's busy Friday morning market, a choice of supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants. Only 30 minutes drive from the beautiful historic Episcopal City of Albi classed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with the Cathedral Saint-Cecile, Toulouse-Lautrec museum, many bars, restaurants and boutique shops. Nearby historic towns and villages include Cordes-sur-ciel (31km) voted one of the preferred villages in France, Najac (30km) with it's chateau overlooking the Aveyron gorges, Sauveterre de Rouergue (30km) with it's night markets and so many more wonderful places to visit. Explore the wonderful wine region of Gaillac and visit some of the many vineyards producing excellent local wines. Relaxation, history and nature combine to make a unique stay in this wonderful unspoilt area of France.
