Summary: Its a really neat/cool place to stay for a night. The chateau is a little run down (as expected as its construction started in 1231), but that adds to its charm. The hotel room was beautiful and clean. The only issue was pink/orange mould on the bottom of the shower curtain.
We also had the best meal on our Southern France trip at a nearby restaurant (Authentique restaurant).

Summary: We loved our stay. The property owner and host Isabelle is a lovely woman who made sure our stay was enjoyable. She called a made reservations for us at a local restaurant that accomodated us late in the evening. The castle itself was incredible. Amenities were as described, we were very comfortable. The breakfast was great. I would love to return again one day.

Summary: Not for everyone as the location is remote. Plan on renting a car to get there. Breathtaking views, clean air and a step back in time. Only stayed 1 night as part of a romp across France. Plan to go back and spend a few days to properly explore. And yes, it’s a real castle!
