This cosy cottage is located in a wonderful rural setting near Lignac. The lovely living areas and excellent location make it the perfect choice for a family get away or get together with friends. This beautifully refurbished cottage retains traditional character but also includes a host of modern comforts, making it an ideal home away from home; when you're not out & about exploring the historic sites & villages or enjoying being close to nature.
To make your stay even more relaxing, you can enjoy a private garden with hot tub(Available April-- October additional charges apply, see below) fully enclosed with outdoor dining and bbq.
We are in the Brenne Natural parc, so there are plenty of nature walks/cycle routes locally! There is also etang de rochegauden in Chaillac with several options for walks and only 5 minutes drive from the gite!
The area is also rich in history with numerous chateaux - Chateau Guilliaume near Lignac is approx 10 minutes drive away! Benoit du Sault is approx 15 minutes away and the City of Writing (Montmorrillon) 30km away is worth a visit, as is Argenton Sur Creuse where you can walk along the banks of the river!
Staying here you have access to the owners private garden where you can have sole use of the solar heated above ground pool, loungers and games available. Our private garden is open to guests from 10am to 7pm, June - September. We are pet friendly too!
As a self-catering cottage, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay. Heating for cosy evenings in the cooler months in the living room, bedrooms/bathroom.
The kitchen has a fridge, a hob, an oven, a kettle, a coffee maker, a dishwasher, a freezer and a microwave.
The cottage is a perfect place to relax and offers a television, internet access and a music player.
This cottage has 3 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 6.
In the first bedroom, you will find 2 single beds.
In the next bedroom, there are 2 single beds.
The third bedroom contains 2 single beds.
There is additional sleeping space in the cottage, comprising an infants cot bed.
There is one bathroom, which has a toilet and sink and a walk-in shower.
Linen, towels and an iron are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.
