This tastefully restored and comfortable cottage is set in a very peaceful rural area not far from the historic town of Cluny and the religious village of Taize. A small village a mile away provides most basic needs.
The cottage enjoys panoramic views over the valley and is very private.
The cottage has been fitted out in a separate house away from the main house, and comfortably accommodates four adults. It has a large private garden in front with several seating areas, there is a sunny terrace along the front of the cottage and shady spots for those hot days of summer. Comfortable garden furniture is provided Guests have furthur use of all the mature gardens ( 20.000 m2 )on the property.
The cottage ( 85 m2) has a roomy living room with a comfortable sofa , WIFI , TV . The living room is also equipped with a wood- burning stove for chilly evenings. The separate dining room adjacent to the living room has French doors leading to the terrace.
The kitchen is equipped with a dish washer, fridge, oven, toaster and a coffee machine.
There are two bedrooms with new comfortable double beds . Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet. If you make reservations for 2 people you have 1 bedroom, if you want 2 bedrooms please make reservations for 3 people.
The cottage is ideal for winter breaks as well as it has been well-insulated and can be heated efficiently. Outside on the terrace in the shelter of the cottage you’ll be able to enjoy the first warm rays of the sun, relax, have a meal.
There are towels in the bathrooms and kitchen and the beds are made .
The cottage is the only guest house on our property .
