Summary: The property is set in the grounds of the owners house with electric gates ensuring safety for children playing. There is a bbq, outside seating area, swings and grass. The accommodation is well maintained extremely clean and equipped with everything you could need including games, beach equipment and books. There is a very informative pack and lots of leaflets for things to do and places to visit. We used the heating rather then the woodburner as we had a 4 year old child with us. The heating was very efficient and easy to control. Caroline, the owner, lives on site and met us with a friendly greeting and tour of the cottage. She was on hand to solve any problems and eager to know if we were having a good time. The only slight downfall is the remoteness of the property. It is about 11/2 miles to the local village which has restaurant, boulengerie and Vival mini market , and about 3 miles from Boulogne. We visited during school half term for both French and some English schools and found parking almost impossible. Wimereux, about 10 minutes away has a lovely beach and parking is much easier. This was our first experience of renting a property in France, and if this is the standard, we shall certainly repeat the experience next year.
