Summary: The cottage is nicely located with a lot of hiking options nearby. The cottage is big enough. The communication with the contact person goes through sending text messages and responding quickly - for us this was convenient. On the other hand, there were some negative points. In general: We didn’t find the rooms clean - we found dust, dirt and cobwebs in all of them. Bathroom & kitchen (no pictures) are functional, but outdated. The bathroom smelled like fuel, the smell seemed to be coming from the shed adjacent to the bathroom and it was quite intense. It doesn’t seem to be healthy or save for anyone. The washing machine stands in the shed. As advertised there is one present, but what is not mentioned is that the same machine is being used by the next door neighbors - as there’s no lock between the shed and the bathroom, they can (theoretically) enter the cottage. We didn’t expect this to happen, but knowing it could is not satisfactory. The kitchen is functional, but outdated. A cutting board is not present and the cutting knives are very blunt. The kettle has rust in it. The couch is very hard and uncomfortable. The mattresses in the bedrooms are soft, for people with back issues not optimal. There are no insect screens in front of the windows, so bugs kept flying in. We couldn’t use the outside space (in the grass), as the grass came to our knees. We sat outside on the driveway, blocking the neighbors when they needed to come or go. We’re not coming back.
