Travel Purpose: business

Positive: It's a nice house, quite spacious and comfortable. Well-equipped kitchen (although the lighting needs improvement as it's difficult to see to cook in the evenings once it's dark). Very clean inside and a comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom with plenty of hot water. Surrounded by a lovely garden and in a nice leafy part of the town on a fairly quiet road. Easy walking distance to town.

Negative: It's the first time we've ever arrived at a holiday rental to find NO toilet paper, no kitchen roll, no dishwasher tablets or washing up liquid, no spare rubbish bags..., We had not expected to have to go shopping for all these basic items on the first morning of the hols. There was no information on using any of the equipment in the house and no information on practicalities such as bin collection days and times: we discovered that ALL the bins - both rubbish and recycling were full and looked like they had been for some time so we took all our rubbish and recycling to the decheterie, I emailed the letting agents about this but received no response and there was no local contact to consult.

Summary: We had a very good holiday in this nice house - would have scored 10 but for lack of information
