Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The position opposite the Abbey is perfect. The rooms at the back are very quiet(though not with a "garden view"!). There was a large, well-equipped kitchen and lots of living space for eg a group of friends. Very hot water. Comfortable bed with good lighting. There was a safe dry solution for bicycles too. Almost next door is an excellent and good value restaurant. La petite auberge. ( But check opening days)

Negative: There was a bad moment about access. Had I not been able to understand the French instructions given over the phone when eventually contact was made, it could have been difficult. A system of giving the necessary info the day on confirmation, would avoid problems. Instructions on how to operate the bathroom heater are needed. The empty building was being heated at 26 degrees when I arrived, which is wasteful. The description should say small enclosed patio.

Summary: A great find for a self-catering group.
