Our beautiful stone house has been lovingly restored and has large secluded gardens with a private swimming pool (9m x 4m) with Roman steps. The garden is completely fenced-off making the house private and secure for your friends, family and four-legged friends!
The house has 5 large double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (1 of which is en-suite) and a separate WC, a newly fully fitted kitchen/dining room with large dining table, American fridge/freezer, dishwasher etc, a beautiful spacious lounge with traditional fireplace and a stylish woodburner opening on to a large sunny patio terrace with outside seating, table tennis table and a fabulous games room to keep the kids entertained with Playstation 4, table football and darts board!
The house is located in the heart of a very pretty Charentaise village surrounded by sunflower fields and only 5km from the nearest town which has everything you will need for your stay: a pharmacy, doctors, bakery, supermarket, two bars, banks and other shops and weekly market. A number of excellent local restaurants are also within a short drive.
The house is just 15 minutes from the market town of Ruffec (which has LGV main-line train station) and only 45 minutes from Poitiers airport. Other international airports are nearby at Niort, La Rochelle, Limoges and Bordeaux.
