Nestled in the heart of unspoilt countryside on a hillside overlooking the verdant Grosne valley, under the wooded ridges of the surrounding hills & the vineyard slopes that dominate the village, this charming wine-growing, typical & commercial town, nestled "in a cluster" around exotic cobbled streets, has many shops & services and enjoys a rich historical heritage (12th century Romanesque church, 15th century Benedictine priory, 13th century keep, medieval tower & ramparts, remains of a fortified castle, several listed medieval residences, 19th century impluvium washhouse, etc.).
