Summary: Good value for the price we paid. The hotel is situated on the outskirts of Le Havre, and close to an Aldi. Property typical 2 star - could do with a makeover, but didn’t affect our stay. Adequate car parking. The hotel and rooms were clean, but could do with better towels, as ours were a bit on the small side and getting old. Water in the bathroom always hot for showers. Room good size, rail provided to hang clothes but no drawers. Electric wall heater, which was confusing to operate, but luckily we had unseasonably mild weather. Small eating area/restaurant with small evening menu which we didn’t have. Breakfast typical cold continental buffet - although you could make a boiled egg and toast. The hotel caters for both couples/families as well as a few commercial van drivers when we were there.
Would return there to visit our French family (but would possibly consider taking our own bath towels).

Summary: The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room felt quite moist, and the mattress was worn out. We do not recommend the normal room, as it was also quite run down. The breakfast was surprisingly good, after the night we thought the breakfast couldn't be better than the room, but it was good! Nice bread, good coffee and as well the woman from the reception was lovely.
