If you are looking for a newly renovated holiday home, you are in the right place. The Chalet Margarete was completely renovated by us in autumn 2011 and brought to the latest ecological standards of technology and comfort. But the best features had the Chalet Margarete before the renovation.

A perfect location (south slope) at 950 vertical meters.
Good access to hiking and skiing in the immediate area.
Our house (about 95 m2 living space, about 90 m2 terrace around the house), is equipped with everything you need to live - and more. Here is a brief summary of what awaits you at Chalet Margarete.

The Chalet Margarete can accommodate up to six people, divided into two bedrooms and one bedroom. With four people you are in best hands in our house. On the two floors are distributed our two bedrooms, a living room, a modern kitchen, a spacious bathroom, an additional toilet on the ground floor, the dining room and a cozy living room. When the weather is nice you can go to the 90 m² terrace. Cozy equipment for lounging is of course available.
to eat and drink
Of course you can enjoy the delicious cuisine of Austria in the area and treat yourself to one or the other delicacies, but in the modern kitchen in the Chalet Margarete can be easily put together even great dishes. A multifunctional combination oven, a combination oven with pizza function and a new gas stove with wok corner invite you to magic. The dishwasher does the dishes. Staple foods and spices are on site and may of course be used.
An ecological and sustainable holiday
The mountains of Vorarlberg are one of the most beautiful places nature has given us in Central Europe. Therefore, we have put in the renovation of our chalet very much emphasis on the technology and thermal insulation of our house. Under the hood of the Margaret chalet hides the latest technology. An infrared and a solar heating not only heat the living areas, but also the bathroom via underfloor heating. A photovoltaic system supplies the power for all electrical appliances. The surplus will be provided to the regular green electricity network. For those who want to stay up-to-date even on vacation: A TV and free WiFi Internet are also available to our visitors. The Romantics can now relax, hike or do sports: Vorarlberg offers a variety of entertainment options - and you are in the thick of it. In winter, the ski areas Bödele, Schetteregg, Didamskopf, Mellau / Damüls, Balderschwang and Warth / Schröcken beckon. In summer you can explore the area on foot or by car. For the adventurer lure paragliding and hang-gliding possibilities. Also the golf courses Bregenzerwald and Montfort Rankweil are only a few minutes by car from the Chalet Margarete. Lake Constance and the lake metropolis Bregenz with the Seebühne and the Kunsthaus always attract art and culture fans to the country. Cheer on the wood stove and conjure up a cuddly atmosphere.
The next place for shopping and first points of contact with the Vorarlbergers is Egg. There and in the vicinity there are restaurants where you can be pampered by the Cuisine Autrichienne.
Directions:
The exact route to Egg can be found in the enclosed map. In Egg you drive towards Schwarzenberg / Bödele, but only until you come to a small electricity house about 200 m after the bridge over the Bregenzer Ach. There you turn right and follow the mountain up the sign of the inn Alpenrose. You drive to the Alpenrose, pick up your key there and continue on the private road until the first (and only) branch on the left side. Take this and drive to the very back to the edge of the forest. There you will see your holiday home, which you can easily recognize from the photos. Parking is right in front of the house.
Snow chains are recommended in winter.
Your caregiver will visit you shortly after your arrival and explain you the apartment and the surroundings.
