Other attractions nearby are the Valley des Singes (Monkey Valley, where there are hundreds of different primates); the beautiful towns of Poitiers, Limoges and Confolens, and pretty villages in abundance. The nearest town is L'Isle Jourdain, which is buzzing in summer months with bars and restaurants. For the adventurous, there is a zip-wire across the river Vienne, and also a walk through the trees, suitable for children. Bungee jumping also, for the more adventurous.
