The cottage is set in an old farmhouse renovated of the 18th century, in the heart of an English landscaped garden of 2 hectares called "The Garden of Mary".
Located on the entire right wing of the main building, the cottage with an area of approximately 170m2 is spread over 2 levels (ground floor and 1st floor). It is ideal for a stay with family or friends.
It is composed of:
- a beautiful living room in "open space" with lounge area, dining area and a fully equipped kitchen.
- a family suite with two small bedrooms: the first consisting of a king size double bed (180cm) and the second of two single beds (2x90cm), a separate bathroom with walk-in shower and separate toilet.
On the floor:
- 3 bedrooms each with a king size double bed (180cm) and its own bathroom and toilet. Two of the bedrooms have a view of the garden and the 3rd bedroom with velux type window with views of the stars.
!!! Attention, the staircase allowing access to the floor is a bit steep. It is not suitable for young children and seniors.
Linen (sheets, towels) & hygienic products are provided and beds are made on arrival.
You will be quiet in a romantic countryside and will not want to leave this charming place.

La maison du Jardin de Marie is an old 18th century Berrichonne farmhouse where calm and serenity reign. It is located only 2 hours south of Paris, between Sancerre, Bourges and the famous pottery village of La Borne.
Le Jardin de Marie is also a 2-hectare English-style landscaped garden, entirely maintained in a natural way, having obtained the label Jardin Remarquable (Remarkable Garden) between 2017 and 2022 and elected 11th Jardin Préféré des Français (French people's favourite garden) in 2019 (Stéphane Bern's programme on France Télévisons).
Opposite the house, an authentic Berrichonne barn, with a coffee roasting workshop and a country café and its terrace, complete the landscape.
