It is backed by the forest of the Ballons des Vosges natural park in the Frankenthal nature and protected reserve, just a few minutes from the main ski resorts, several mountain lakes, and many hiking trails such as the GR5, the rocks, the Hohneck massif. A qualified mountain guide, and member of the natural park, offers you themed hiking outings from the chalet on the discovery of the flora and fauna of the massif, in particular the chamois. For my part, I propose to introduce you to the riches of the region, such as the pie from the valley, my jams, my homemade kougelhopf, honey, cheese, yogurt from the farm 2 steps from the chalet.
