Travel Purpose: business

Positive: The apartment was clean and comfortable. The toilet and bathroom are separate, preference for together but no worries. The location was central. A little walk got us to the pedestrian area, castle and commercial hub. The apartment was clean and the space was good. Secure car park at back of hotel. The parking space was also easily accessible and suitable for all sizes of cars. The hotel/apartment block is run by the French BandB chain. This room/apartment is private so some confusion. The security is good as you need a code to get in the lift.

Negative: We used the car park and it was secure but the instructions for getting to it were unclear. You need to go right round the block to the back of the hotel to access the gate. The code for the gate is not on the instructions. The code to get in through the back door is also not available. This led to some confusion when trying to take bags from the car to the apartment. The cooking facilities are minimal. An oven / microwave but no instructions so personally could not use. So no warm croissants! From a British perspective there was no toaster so again a breakfast alternative thwarted. A toaster would have been preferable to a dish washer! The wifi was intermittent. You have to log into the BandB wifi and you had to repeat each day. I would also say this means it is not individualised and secure. My husband was logging on for work and it created a problem so had to use hotspot from phone. There are no instructions in the apartment and it would have been helpful to have some for clarity.
