Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Immaculately clean and everything in full working order. Well-equipped with everything anyone would need .... a travel adapter, kitchen items like kitchen roll, olive oil, salt, Lavazza capsules for the great coffee machine, electric kettle, bottled water. The bathroom had plenty of nice towels, toilet rolls, air freshener, hand and shower soap, shampoo and hair dryer. Nice hot shower, (small cubicle but big enough for us). Nice touches were appreciated - fresh fruit and a very nice sparkling wine. An attractive property from the outside, situated in a lovely courtyard with very pleasant outdoor sitting areas front, back and at the side of the house. Access via self check-in was easy and appreciated as it gave us flexibility when we arrived.

Negative: The bed wasn't comfortable for me but my husband said it was okay. I felt it needed a memory foam mattress topper (IKEA sell them!) If one of us turned over during the night the entire mattress bounced too. However, it wouldn't stop me staying here again. It was cold at night during our stay (16/17th Oct) so the apartment, particularly the bathroom, was cold in the morning. Apparently, the heating in Italy gets turned on again on 15th Oct. But in our case it wasn't. These two issues are the only reasons for not rating this property 10/10. It's a lovely place otherwise.
