It originally was a farm surrounded by multiple buildings primarily dedicated to livestock and dairy products. The main house called “la Maison de Maitre” has been built in the mid-18th century and the barns surrounding the court yard are respectively dated from the 16th and 18th century.
The property is positioned on one side by a beautiful rose garden surrounded by manicured bush hedges with a large pond and sweeping lawns facing a 2 hectare (5-acre) parcel among fields and tall shade trees and on the other side a beautiful fully sun exposed court yard encircled with two old barnyards. Most impressive is the spectacular view of the Bayeux Cathedral captured from the outside patio and all the rooms facing the garden. In addition, miles of pristine backgrounds featuring the famous lush Normand grassy meadows with cows peacefully and gleefully munching will transport you to an enchanted journey.
