Total tranquility in the heart of the unspoiled wine-growing countryside of the Haut Mâconnais, both urban and rural, nestled in the hollow of a valley of vineyards and meadows dominated by the wooded ridges of the vast surrounding wild forests, within a protected area in ZNIEFF for its rich flora and fauna. Spacious, very comfortable gîte. Large rooms and beautiful volumes. Warm, country character enhanced by the exotic, slightly retro feel of a former, opulent residence, as well as by careful heritage restoration (exceptional cement tile floors, molded doors, beams, one of which is dated, marble fireplace mantels, stone sink, original floor tiles...). Enormous charm and character.
