Positive: We were fortunate enough to spend a few days in this charming cottage, and we cannot praise it enough! At first glance, you will be captivated by its traditional exterior, which perfectly fits the surrounding landscape. But as soon as you step inside, you will be surprised by the modern and tasteful renovation that respects historical elements. For instance, the old stove, which is more than 100 years old, has been completely restored and adds an authentic atmosphere to the place. As for the amenities, we couldn't have asked for more. Everything was spotlessly clean and equipped with high-quality appliances, providing us with all the comfort we needed. The hosts were very helpful and communicative, always ready to assist and answer any of our questions, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Adding to all of this are the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains directly from the accommodation. Every morning, we enjoyed watching wild animals grazing right from the cottage, which was an unforgettable experience for us. For nature lovers and hikers, this location is a true paradise – there are trails leading into the mountains directly from the cottage, allowing you to fully enjoy the surrounding nature without the need for long transfers. Another advantage is the proximity to the town of Zermatt – just a 15-minute drive to the train station, allowing easy access to other attractions in the area. And I must not forget the opportunity to purchase local wine, grown in high-altitude vineyards. Its unique flavor was the perfect end to our evenings. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay and would definitely love to return. If you are looking for a place that combines the charm of traditional architecture with modern comfort and stunning nature, we highly recommend this accommodation!
