Located in a large 2,500m2 orchard in Biaudos, in the south of Landes, Bichta Eder Biaudos Guest House offers a fully equipped self-catering apartment for 5 people, overlooking the garden. I live on the second floor with the little westie Jahan. We do not only offer you an apartment to stay, but an environment and personalized advice so that you can live the best during your vacation with us. I will be happy to answer all your questions before and during your stay! You will be ideally located to discover the Basque coast at 16kms to the west, the marine lakes of Hossegor (21kms) and Soustons, the currents of Huchet and Contis, the beaches of the Landes to the north, the Basque hinterland without passing by the coast and its traffic jams to the south, the medieval villages of the Béarn des Gaves to the east. The nearest airport is Biarritz, 19 km from the house. The nearest train station is Bayonne.
The house is located away from the town of Biaudos, in a neighborhood surrounded by nature. A few meters away, near the garbage collection point, we often visit our mare neighbors. On the other hand, the orchard is visited by many species of birds and insects, to whose songs we wake up and fall asleep in summer. Sometimes we come across a pheasant. Hinds sometimes venture into the neighboring field. Cranes and wild geese fly over us during their migrations. In short, we live in the calm of the countryside but close to the attractions of the Basque Country and the Landes.
We are Stéphanie and the little westie Jahan. Our greatest pleasure is to welcome travelers who are eager to discover our beautiful region and its culture, and who love human contact... and canine. I am a traveler at heart - I often go to meet indigenous people, especially in Asia - and I have been serving travelers since 1997. I know their needs well, especially in a region where Basque, French and Spanish names coexist! I am also the author of a diary of the most traditional Basque festivals, and a member of the Association Bizi Ona - Slow Food Pays Basque. So I can share with you a lot of good addresses!!!
